Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 lb white American deli cheese slices
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoon taco seasoning
Preparation
- In a small sauce pan, add spinach and add enough water to cover. Boil for 5 minutes and drain.
- Use food processor or high powered blender to blend the spinach with the water until completely smooth and free of lumps. Set aside.
- Cut deli slices into quarters. Add to medium sauce pan set to medium heat.
- Add milk and stir continuously until cheese is completely melted and the mixture is completely smooth. Add a little more milk if you prefer a thinner queso.
- Remove from heat and add taco seasoning and spinach and mix until blended.
- Serve immediately.
